The Rolls Royce / Bentley Convertible (Sold) |
|
This beautiful 1952 Mark Vl Rolls Royce / Bentley Park Ward convertible is one of only six of its type ever built and was originally commissioned for the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show.
ItÂ’s one of the most stylish wedding cars in the world and is guaranteed to create a show stopping entrance as it sweeps up to your wedding venue.
A hallmark of style, romance and sophistication, the same model was used as the wedding car for the Royal Wedding of Prince Rainier of Monaco and screen actress Grace Kelly in 1956. When built, it cost around double the price of a standard Bentley saloon and is widely-recognised as one of the finest examples of Rolls Royce engineering.
Finished in a stunning British Racing Green colour and featuring the famous Bentley mascot and grille, Ivory CarsÂ’ vehicle has been extensively restored. The engine was recently rebuilt by Rolls Royce specialists at a cost of £15,000.
The vehicle is fully weatherproof featuring front and rear heaters, a fold-down roof and authentic green Connolly hide seating. This is the ultimate example of a classic wedding car and it has been maintained in excellent condition by Ivory Cars for the past 20 years.
